Add and organize Quick links on your church page

Quick links are the pinned buttons that sit right below your header on your public church page. They are the fastest way to point visitors and members to the things that matter most, like this Sunday's event, a sign-up form, or your giving page.

Before you begin

  • You need access to the Church page in your dashboard.
  • If you want to link to one of your own events or forms, create it first so it shows up in the search.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Church page. In the dashboard, go to Church. This lands you on the public-page editor, with your live phone preview on the right. Your changes save automatically.
  2. Find the Quick links section. Look just below the page header block for the section titled Quick links ("Pinned buttons below your header").
  3. Click Add link. The Add link pop-up window opens. To change a link you already have, tap its row instead and the same window opens ready to edit.
  4. Set the icon and name. In the Icon & name row, click the icon button to pick an emoji or upload your own image, then type a Link name in the box next to it. The name can be up to 60 characters.
  5. Choose where the link goes. In the Link field, start typing to search your own events and forms, then pick one from the list, or paste any web address. When you pick an event or form, it fills in the link and gives you a starter name and icon (only if you left those blank), so you can tweak them from there.
  6. Set who can see it. Under Who can see it, choose Everyone or Members only. Members-only links appear on the page just for signed-in members of your church.
  7. Save the link. Click Add link (or Save when editing). The new button appears in your list and in the preview on the right.
  1. Find the grip handle. Each link row has a small drag handle on its left edge.
  2. Drag to reorder. Press and hold the handle, then drag the row up or down. The order you set here is the order visitors see on your page.

Good to know

  • Each row shows a visibility badge. A row with a globe icon and "Everyone" is public; a row with a lock icon and "Members" only shows to signed-in members. This is a quick way to double-check your settings at a glance.
  • You can have up to 10 quick links. Once you reach 10, the Add link button turns off until you delete one.
  • A link needs both a name and a destination to appear. If you leave the name or the link empty, the row stays in your editor but will not show on the public page.
  • Editing an existing link has a Delete option. When you tap a row to edit it, a Delete button appears in the bottom-left of the pop-up window to remove that link.
  • No Save button for the whole page. Quick links save on their own a moment after you make a change, so there is nothing extra to click.
