Find, preview, and share your church page (your public link)

Your church page is the public home that visitors see: your header, links, upcoming events, and a map. This article shows you where its web address is, how the live preview works, and how to open or share the real page.

Before you begin

  • You need access to the Church tab. That comes with a full admin role, or with a Church tab invite from an admin.

See the live preview as you edit

  1. Open the Church tab. In the left sidebar, click Church. You land on the editor, with your page fields on the left and a phone-shaped preview on the right.
  2. Make a change. Edit your header, quick links, or map, and the phone redraws to match right away. Nothing to refresh.
  3. Switch the Visitor / Member view. Above the phone, the Visitor / Member switch changes what the preview shows: a first-time visitor's page, or the page a signed-in member sees. It only changes the picture in the phone; it does not open anything.

The phone is a live picture of your page, not the real page. Buttons inside it, like Give or Subscribe, are for show and don't do anything while you're editing.

Open and share the real page

At the top of the phone preview is an address bar showing your public link: church.day/ followed by your church's custom web address (for example, church.day/grace).

  1. Click the address bar. Your real page opens in a new browser tab, exactly as visitors see it.
  2. Copy the link to share it. Use church.day/your-church on flyers, social posts, and emails. It's short and easy to type.

Your page's true home is churchday.co/your-church. The church.day/your-church link is a short link that sends people to that page, so both work and both open the same page.

Good to know

  • Old links keep working. If you shared an older churchday.co/org/your-church link, it still sends visitors to your current page.
  • A custom domain points here too. If you've connected your own web address (like pages.yourchurch.org), visitors who type it are taken to your church page. See Connect a custom domain to set one up.
  • Jump back to editing from your live page. When you're signed in as an admin and viewing your own public page, an Edit page button floats at the bottom of the screen. Click it to return to this editor in one tap.

What visitors see

Your public page includes, from top to bottom:

  • Your header: cover image, logo, church name, service time, and short bio.
  • A Give or Subscribe button so visitors can give or join your list.
  • A member facepile: a row of member photos they can tap.
  • Your quick links: the pinned buttons below the header.
  • Your upcoming events.
  • A map of where you meet, near the bottom (when you've turned the map on).
