Your Churchday home page

Your home is the first thing you see when you sign in to Churchday. It gathers your church, any volunteer requests, and your events into one simple page so you always know what's happening.

Finding your home

When you sign in, Churchday takes you straight to your home. You can come back to it any time by clicking the Churchday name in the top-left corner of the page.

At the top of the page

A friendly greeting. You'll see a hello with your first name, like "Good evening, Sarah." The greeting changes through the day based on your device's clock.
A weather chip. Next to your greeting is a small weather emoji. Tap it to open the Weather location pop-up window, then search for your city and click Save to see weather for the place you choose. To go back to automatic weather based on your location, open the same window and click Use my location automatically.
Today's date and time. Just below the greeting, a line shows the current day, date, and time in your own time zone. It updates on its own.

Your church

If you belong to a church, you'll see a Your church section with a tile for each one. Each tile shows the church's logo, its name, and a few member faces.

Tap a church tile to open that church's page. That page is where your member actions live, in a panel for members and volunteers: viewing your groups, submitting expenses, setting your unavailable dates, and choosing your volunteer preferences.

Volunteer requests

When a church asks you to serve, a Volunteer requests section appears. It gathers requests from every church you belong to, with the soonest date listed first, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Each request card shows the church, the event, your role, and the date and time. Click Accept to say yes or click Decline to say no. If you decline, you can add a short reason.

Your events

Your events are grouped so they're easy to scan:

Your events. Gatherings you're hosting show up here first.
You're attending. Events you've said yes to appear in this section.
Past events. Events that have already happened are listed here. To keep the page tidy, only the most recent few show at first. Click See more to reveal older ones.

If you have no events yet, you'll see a short note letting you know that events you RSVP to will show up here.

Haven't joined a church yet?

If you're not connected to a church, your home shows a Find your church message with a Browse churches button. Click Browse churches to look for your church and get connected. Once you join, your church tile, volunteer requests, and events all begin to fill in.

Good to know

Only churches where you're a full member appear in the Your church section. Requests to join and other relationships are handled in your settings, not on this page.
The greeting, weather, and clock all follow your own device, so what you see matches your phone or computer.
