Viewing the events you're attending

Once you RSVP to an event, Churchday keeps it on your personal calendar so you always know what's coming up. This article shows you the two places your events appear and what each one is for.

Before you begin

You need to be signed in to your Churchday account.
To see events, RSVP to at least one, or be a member of a church that has a regular service.

Where your events show up

There are two views:

Your personal home page gives you the quick glance. This is the page you land on when you sign in.
Your events page gives you the full list of upcoming events you've RSVP'd to, with a way to cancel each one.

On your personal home page

Your home page groups upcoming events into sections so the most useful things sit at the top:

You're attending. Every upcoming event you've RSVP'd to appears here.
Your events. If you're the host of an upcoming event, it shows in its own section above the ones you're attending.
Past events. Events that have already happened appear at the bottom.

Your church's regular services show up automatically. If you're a member of a church that holds a repeating service (like a weekly Sunday gathering), the next service appears in your upcoming list without you having to RSVP each week. It's there because you're a member.

Past events start with the five most recent. To keep the page light, only your five most recent past events are shown. Click See more at the bottom of that section to reveal older ones.

Opening an event

Click any event card to open it. Where you land depends on your role:

If you're attending the event, the card opens the public event page, where you can see the details, the location, and who else is going.
If you're the host, the card shows a Hosting badge and opens your management view instead, where you can edit the event and see who has signed up.

On the Your events page

For the complete list of what's coming up, open the Your events page. It shows every upcoming event you've RSVP'd to, in date order, under the heading "Upcoming events you've RSVP'd to."

Click an event's name to open its public page.
Click Cancel next to an event to remove yourself from the attendee list. If family members are registered with you, a pop-up window lets you choose who to cancel for before you confirm.

Good to know

If you haven't RSVP'd to anything yet, the Your events page shows Nothing on your calendar. As soon as you RSVP to an event, it appears here.
Canceling your RSVP only removes you from that one event. Your church's regular services keep showing up because your membership, not an RSVP, puts them there.
