Read your church page analytics: visitors, clicks, and top links
Your church page has its own analytics that show who's visiting, how they found you, and what they tap. This is where you learn whether people who land on your page actually click through to give, follow you, or open an event.
Before you begin
- You need access to the Church page in your dashboard.
- The numbers only appear once people start visiting, so a brand-new page may look empty at first.
Open your church page analytics
- Go to the Church page in your dashboard.
- Click the Analytics tab at the top, next to Church and Settings.
- Read the subtitle: "Who's visiting your church page, and what they tap." That's exactly what this tab is for.
Everything on this tab covers a rolling last 7 days window: today plus the six days before it. You'll see the exact date range noted at the bottom of the page.
The three numbers at the top
At the top you'll see three summary numbers side by side:
- Visitors counts the unique people who opened your church page, counted once per person per day. If the same person refreshes or comes back later the same day, it still counts as one. The smaller number underneath shows total opens (every view, including repeat visits).
- Link clicks counts every tap on any link on your page: Give, your social links, your quick links, event links, and member sections.
- Click rate is the share of your visitors who tapped at least one link. It tells you how many people did something after landing, not just looked.
Each number has a small "i" icon you can tap for a plain-language explanation.
The panels below
Under the summary numbers, you'll find several panels, each answering a different question:
- Visitors & clicks is a chart plotting visitors and taps across the last 7 days, so you can spot which days were busiest.
- Who visited lists everyone who opened your page, newest first, along with how they arrived (Direct, Instagram, Google, and so on). This includes people who looked but didn't tap anything.
- Top links ranks your links by how many taps each one got, most-tapped first. The percentage is each link's share of all taps. This is the panel that tells you what's actually working.
- Recent taps shows each individual tap as it happened, newest first, with a short label like "Tapped Give."
- How people arrive breaks down where your visitors came from overall (a referring site, a tagged link of yours, or Direct when the source is hidden).
Good to know
- Members show by name and photo. People in your church who are signed in appear with their name and picture. Signed-in visitors with a public Churchday profile link to it.
- Everyone else shows as "Someone." Visitors you don't have on file stay anonymous, so the feeds respect privacy while still giving you the full picture.
- Bots are filtered out. Automated crawlers and scanners are dropped before the numbers are counted, so what you see reflects real people.
- The window always moves. Because it's a rolling 7 days, the same page will show different totals next week. There's no way to pick a custom date range on this tab.
