Brand your church's emails

Your email brand is the logo, fonts, colors, and social links that every email you send uses by default. Set it once and every campaign looks like it came from your church, not from a generic template.

Before you begin

  • You need permission to send email for your church. If you can create and send email campaigns, you have it.
  • You most likely set your brand during onboarding, when you first created your church. This page is where you come back to change it.

How to open the brand page

The brand page is not listed in the Settings menu. To open it, go to your dashboard and add /settings/brand to the end of the web address in your browser, then press Enter. It can help to bookmark that page so it is easy to find later.

Step-by-step

  1. Look at the two panes. Your settings are on the left. A live preview of a sample email is on the right, so you can see every change as you make it.

  2. Upload your logo. In the Logo card, click the upload circle and choose a square or wide image. Use a PNG or JPG file up to 5MB. Once it uploads, use Crop to trim it or Remove to start over.

  3. Set the logo size. Drag the Height slider to make the logo larger or smaller. The size can go from 30 to 160 pixels, and the preview updates as you drag.

  4. Add a logo link (optional). In the Logo link field, paste the web address you want the logo to open when someone clicks it, such as your church website. Leave it blank if you do not want the logo to link anywhere.

  5. Choose your fonts and colors. In the Typography & colors card, pick a font and color for your Heading text and for your Body text. Below those, set the Email card color (the background of the email itself), the Button color, and the Button text color.

  6. Add your social links. In the Social footer card, choose an Icon style (Color, Dark, or Light) and use the Icon spacing slider to set the gap between icons. Then fill in your handles for Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Spotify, Discord, and Website. Only the ones you fill in will appear in your emails.

  7. Save your work. Click Save brand at the bottom (or Save changes if you have saved before). You will see a short confirmation, and every new email will now use this brand.

Good to know

  • Check it in your inbox first. In the preview pane, click Send test to email yourself a sample using your current brand, so you can see how it looks in a real inbox before you save.
  • Nothing sends automatically. Editing your brand only changes how future emails look. It does not send anything to your people.
  • You can override it per email. These are defaults. When you build a specific campaign, you can still adjust the design for that one email.
  • Phone and email stay off your emails. The social footer covers web links only. Your church phone number and contact email live on your public church page, not stamped into every email.
