Managing Volunteer Status
When you assign someone to a volunteer position, they start with a "Pending" status. As they respond, their status updates to show whether they can serve.
The three statuses
| Status | Icon | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Orange clock | Waiting for the volunteer to respond |
| Accepted | Green checkmark | The volunteer confirmed they can serve |
| Declined | Red strikethrough | The volunteer cannot serve this date |
Viewing statuses
- Go to Schedule in the sidebar, or open an event's Schedule tab.
- Each volunteer slot shows the person's name and their status icon.
- Hover over the icon for a description (like "Accepted — this person confirmed they can serve").
Good to know
- If someone declines, their name stays in the slot with a strikethrough so you can see it still needs to be filled.
- You can remove a declined volunteer and assign someone else in their place.
- Check the schedule regularly as the event date approaches to make sure all positions are confirmed.
