Setting Your Public URL

Your public URL is the web address where anyone can see your church's profile and upcoming events. It looks like churchday.co/your-church-name.

Step-by-step

1. Go to Settings > General.
2. Find the Public URL field and click the pencil. The editor shows churchday.co/ followed by your current custom address.
3. Type your preferred name. Keep it short and recognizable — your church name or an abbreviation works well.
4. Click Save. The new URL takes effect right away.

Rules for your custom address

• Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed.
• Spaces and special characters are not supported.
• It must be unique — no two churches can have the same address.

Good to know

• Changing your custom address updates the URL immediately. Anyone using the old address will no longer reach your page.
• Your public URL appears on all public event pages under "Hosted by."
• Share this link on your church website, social media, or printed materials so people can find your events.
