How Public Event Pages Work
Every public event in Churchday gets its own shareable page where anyone can see the details and register. This page is designed for visitors who may not have a Churchday account.
What the page shows
- Cover image at the top (or a calendar placeholder if none is set).
- Category badge (like "Service" or "Fellowship").
- Event title and description.
- Date and time with a calendar icon.
- Location — address with a map pin icon, or video link with a camera icon.
- Attendance count and remaining spots (if a limit is set).
- "Hosted by" section showing your church name and logo.
The registration card
On the right side of the page, visitors see a registration card. What it shows depends on the event's status:
| Situation | What the visitor sees |
|---|---|
| Open and available | Register for Free button |
| Full (at capacity) | Join Waitlist button |
| Past the deadline | "Registration closed" message |
| No registration required | "No registration needed — just show up" |
| Restricted to groups | "Restricted Event" with a lock icon |
Visitors who are not signed in are prompted to sign in or create an account before registering.
Sharing the link
Find your event's link on the event overview page in the Registration Link section. Copy it and share through email, text, social media, or your church website.
Good to know
- Private events do not have public pages.
- The page is mobile-friendly — it works well on phones and tablets.
- Visitors can register without being a member of your church.
