Public Event Pages
Every event in Churchday gets its own public page that you can share with anyone. Visitors can see event details and register — no account required.
Finding your event's link
- Open the event from your dashboard.
- Look at the Registration Link section on the right side of the overview page.
- Copy the link by clicking the copy button. The link looks like
churchday.co/e/your-event-id. - Share it through email, text, social media, or your church website.
What visitors see
The public event page shows:
- Cover image (or a calendar emoji if none is set)
- Category badge (like "Service" or "Fellowship")
- Event title and description
- Date and time with a calendar icon
- Location with a map pin (for in-person) or video icon (for virtual)
- Attendance count and remaining spots (if a limit is set)
- "Hosted by" section with your church name and logo
Registration
On the right side of the page, visitors see a registration card:
- If the event is open, they see a Register for Free button.
- If the event is full, they see a Join Waitlist button.
- If registration is closed (past the deadline), they see "Registration closed" with the closing date.
- If no registration is required, they see "No registration needed — just show up."
Visitors who are not signed in will be asked to sign in or create an account to register.
Restricted events
If the event is restricted to specific groups or teams, visitors outside those groups see a lock icon and a message explaining the event is restricted.
Good to know
- You can preview your event page by clicking Preview page on the event overview.
- Public events are visible to anyone with the link, even if they are not a member of your church.
- Private events do not have public pages.
