Targeting an Audience

You can send your email to everyone in your directory or narrow it down to a specific group of people using filters.

Sending to everyone

  1. Open your campaign in the email editor.
  2. Click the audience button at the top of the editor (it shows "All contacts" or "Filtered audience" with a count).
  3. Select All contacts. The count shows how many people will receive the email.
  4. Click Done.

Targeting a specific group

  1. Click the audience button at the top of the editor.
  2. Under Advanced targeting, add filter conditions to narrow down your recipients. This uses the same audience builder as the People page — you can filter by tag, group, team, status, gender, location, age, and more.
  3. Check the count to see how many people match.
  4. Click Done.

Using a saved audience

If you have previously saved a set of filters (see Saving Audiences for Reuse), you can load it directly from the audience selector.

Good to know

  • The audience count updates in real time as you change filters.
  • You can target different audiences for different campaigns without affecting each other.
  • If you are sending an event-specific email (like from the event's Emails tab), the audience may already be pre-filtered to people registered for that event.
