Choosing an Email Template

Churchday comes with several email templates designed for common church communications. Each one gives you a head start with a pre-built layout you can customize.

Available templates

Weekly Newsletter

A layout for regular church updates. Includes sections for announcements, upcoming events, and a personal note. Great for: Sunday recaps, weekly previews.

Event Announcement

Focused on highlighting a single event. Features space for the event name, details, date, and a registration link. Great for: promoting an upcoming event.

Event Reminder

A shorter format to remind people about an event they have registered for. Great for: sending a day or two before an event.

Welcome New Member

A warm greeting for someone who just joined. Includes a personal welcome message and links to get involved. Great for: onboarding new members.

Blank

An empty canvas. Start from scratch and build exactly what you need. Great for: custom communications that do not fit the other formats.

How to choose a template

  1. Click New Campaign on the Email page.
  2. Browse the templates. Each one shows a thumbnail preview.
  3. Click on a template to select it and start editing.

Good to know

  • Templates are starting points — you can add, remove, or rearrange any block after selecting a template.
  • You can save your own custom templates for future use.
  • If you are not sure which to pick, start with Blank and add blocks as you go.
