Saving Audiences for Reuse

If you regularly email or search for the same group of people — like all small group leaders or all parents — save your filters as a named audience so you do not have to rebuild them every time.

Saving an audience

  1. Build your filters using the audience builder (see Creating Your First Audience).
  2. Click Save (or the save icon).
  3. Enter a name — for example, "Small Group Leaders" or "Parents with Kids."
  4. Confirm to save.

Your audience is now available to load from a dropdown wherever the audience builder appears.

Loading a saved audience

  1. Open the audience builder (from People or an email campaign).
  2. Click the saved audiences dropdown.
  3. Select the audience you want to load.
  4. The filters populate automatically and the count updates.

Editing a saved audience

  1. Load the saved audience.
  2. Change the filters as needed.
  3. Save again with the same name to update it, or use a new name to create a separate copy.

Deleting a saved audience

  1. Load the saved audience.
  2. Click Delete to remove it.

Deleting a saved audience does not delete any people — it only removes the saved filter combination.

Good to know

  • Saved audiences are dynamic — they always reflect the current members who match the filters. If someone new joins a group you filter for, they will be included next time.
  • Saved audiences are shared across your church account, so any admin or staff member can use them.
  • They are especially useful for recurring email campaigns where you target the same people each time.
